When I started CenterCutCook one year ago, I had absolutely no idea that it would turn into what it’s become. I remember posting my very first recipe and thinking about how long it would take before I actually had a selection of recipes for you, my lovely visitors, to view.

And speaking of visitors, I had none. When you make a website, people don’t just come. You have to find a way to get them there. Thanks to websites like Pinterest, FoodGawker, Tastespotting, and Facebook, slowly but surely, people started coming.

As I saw my traffic go up and a comment here or there, it gave me motivation to keep going. So I did. And now I finish 2012 with 176 recipes, over 1,000 comments, and 2 million visitors. To say that I am satisfied with the progress would be an understatement. My progress though, is thanks to you, the people who are reading this post. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to comment, share recipes with friends via email and Facebook, and Pin recipes on Pinterest. It means so much to me, and I truly appreciate it. I wouldn’t be where I am today without YOU, so thank you, thank you, thank you!

I thought I’d finish 2012 by sharing the top 12 recipes of 2012! These are the posts that had the most visits over the course of the year. They go in order with Balsamic BBQ Glazed Chicken at the top! I hope 2012 has been a good one for you, Happy New Years and here’s to 2013! I look forward to sharing more recipes with you. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see in 2013 on CenterCutCook, let me know in the comments below! XOXO
