How to Cut a Pineapple
A step-by-step how-to guide for cutting a pineapple, including pictures for each step!

Cut the top and bottom off of the pineapple. Then cut the pineapple in half.
Cut each half in half again so that you are left with quarters.
Cut away the core from each piece.
Cut each quarter in half again so that you are left with 8 spears. Cut the skin away from each spear.
If you want the pineapple cut into spears, at this point you're done. If you want your pineapple cut into chunks, begin cutting each spear into bite-sized chunks.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Pineapple will stay good in the refrigerator for 3-5 days and will freeze well for 10-12 months.
