Cheesy Sausage and Rice Skillet
This Cheesy Sausage and Rice Skillet is made entirely in one pot for a super quick one-pot meal.

smoked sausage cut into rounds or half moons

butter

steamed broccoli

Rice-A-Roni

sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add butter.
When butter is melted, add sausage to the pan and brown for 3-4 minutes.
Set aside seasoning packets from the Rice-A-Roni. Add the rice to the pan and brown for 1-2 minutes.
Stir in 5 cups water.
Add seasoning packets from Rice-A-Roni and stir to combine. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
While sausage and rice cook, steam the broccoli and chop into bite-sized pieces. Add the steamed broccoli to the skillet.
Stir in 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese and stir to combine. Then serve.
