Cookies and Cream Smoothie

Cookies for breakfast? Oh yes! This delicious Cookies and Cream smoothie is satisfying and pretty healthy for you- if you can stop at just one serving!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 frozen banana not organic
  • 1 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk I used whole milk
  • 5 chocolate sandwich cookies Oreos or generic brand
  • whipped cream and cookie crumbs for garnish optional

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine bananas, yogurt, and milk.
  • Crush the cookies in a sealed, thick plastic baggie.
  • Mix 3/4 of the crushed cookies into the smoothie.
  • Top with whipped cream or topping (optional), then sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs on top.
