Ingredients
2tablespoons butter
3mediumbell peppers, cut into strips
1largesweet yellow onion, sliced into half moons
1teaspoonsalt
½ teaspoonblack pepper
2teaspoonsWorcestershire sauce
2teaspoonssoy sauce
Instructions
Prepare the peppers and onion - wash and dry the peppers and onions. Remove the stem and seeds from the peppers, then slice into thin strips. Peel the onion, then slice it into half moons.
Heat the pan - heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add in butter. Once melted, add the peppers and onions.
Season - sprinkle the peppers and onions with salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
Sauté for 12-15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Remove the peppers and onions from the pan, and transfer them to a serving dish to be used as a topping for fajitas, burritos, tacos, etc.
