  • Prepare the baking sheet: line a rimmed baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Use an oven-safe wire rack on top of your baking sheet for extra crispy bacon.
  • Arrange the bacon: lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake: place the baking sheet in a cold oven (no need to pre-heat the oven). Turn the oven on to 400 degrees then bake for 15-25 minutes or until bacon has reached your desired crispiness. Begin checking the bacon at the 10 minute mark to avoid overcooking.
  • Remove and drain: carefully remove the pain from the oven, then transfer the bacon to a paper towel lined plate.
  • Serve

Notes

If you have never baked bacon in your oven before, start checking the bacon as early as 10 minutes. The rate at which the bacon cooks varies depending on how fast your oven comes to temp.
