Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp ground mustard powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook until it is reduced to a thick sauce. Stir frequently and scrape the sides and bottom of the pan to prevent the sauce from sticking.
  • Transfer to a container to cool to room temperature. Once cool, cover with an airtight lid. Store in the refrigerator and keep for about one week.
