Simple Creamy Alfredo Sauce
Easy Alfredo Sauce made with cream cheese and half and half: good enough to entertain with, but easy enough to make in a hurry.... 20 minute creamy alfredo sauce!

- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 oz cream cheese softened and cut into cubes (it will melt quicker this way)
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese use fresh, it will melt better
- 3 cloves minced garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add in softened cream cheese cubes and stir until cream cheese has melted.
Slowly pour in 1 cup half and half and whisk vigorously for a few minutes.
Add in parmesan cheese and stir until it is incorporated.
Then stir in garlic, black pepper, and dried parsley.
Let the sauce simmer on low for a few minutes to thicken up.
Combine with your favorite pasta and serve.
