How to make Ceasar Salad {Restaurant Style}

Homemade Ceasar Salad is a classic. The dressing is creamy, and delicious just like you’d get at your favorite restaurant. And it’s made without anchovies or eggs! Instructions on how to make homemade croutons are included. Add grilled shrimp or chicken and you have a full restaurant quality meal right at home.

Ingredients

Ceasar Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp coarse black pepper

Homemade Crouton Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread torn into one-inch chunks
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Ceasar Dressing Directions

  • Place all caesar dressing ingredients in a large glass jar with a lid.
  • Shake well to combine all ingredients.
  • Alternatively, place all caesar dressing ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to combine.
  • Store in an air-tight container for up to two weeks.

Homemade Crouton Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Toss bread chunks with 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
  • Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the croutons are crispy and golden.

  • To make a caesar salad, chop up the desired amount of romaine lettuce.
  • Top with fresh parmesan cheese, desired amount of caesar dressing, and homemade croutons.
