Layer the chicken and cheese: Arrange 4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom of the slow cooker. Place 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top of each piece of chicken.
Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/3 cup milk until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken and cheese.
Add the stuffing and butter: Sprinkle 1 box of dry stuffing mix evenly over the top. Drizzle ¼ cup melted butter evenly over the stuffing mix to help it brown and stay moist.
Cook: Cover and cook on Low for 4–6 hours or High for about 3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
