Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies with Brown Sugar Glaze

Ingredients

  • 16 oz little smokies sauages
  • 16 oz bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Spicy Ketchup

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flake
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cut strips of bacon into 3-4 pieces so that each piece of bacon will fit around a little smokie.
  • Wrap a strip of bacon around a little smokie and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Place the bacon wrapped little smokies on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar over the little smokies.
  • Bake in the oven for 22-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the brown sugar has turned into a glaze.
  • While the little smokies bake, prepare the spicy ketchup - in a small bowl combine ketchup, cayenne pepper, red pepper flake and garlic powder.
