Pear Dump Cake

This pear dump cake with fresh sliced pears baked with brown sugar and cinnamon is the perfect dessert! Add pecans for the best topping.

Ingredients

  • 8 pears peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 3 tbsp light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 boxed yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a bowl, stir together the pear slices, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place the pear slices into an 8x8 square pan.
  • Pour the cake mix on top of the filling.
  • Pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. Make sure to cover the entire top.
  • Place in the oven and bake for about 50 minutes until the top is golden brown.
