Baked Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

WINGS INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pounds chicken wings
  • Oil spray
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 ¾ teaspoons salt

BUFFALO SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup Frank’s Original Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

RANCH DIPPING SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk or almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Place one oven rack in the lowest position and one in the highest position. Lightly spray a baking rack on a baking sheet with oil.
  • Pat wings dry with paper towels. In a large Ziplock bag, toss wings with baking powder and salt until evenly coated.
  • Arrange wings on the rack, skin side up. Bake on the lower rack for 30 minutes.
  • Move wings to the top rack, increase heat to 425°F, and bake 40–50 minutes until crispy, rotating the tray once.
  • While baking, mix buffalo sauce and ranch dipping sauce ingredients.
  • Toss hot wings in buffalo sauce and serve immediately with ranch.
