Pumpkin Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

This Pumpkin Banana Bread Recipe is made with chocolate chips and combines everything you love about banana bread with the delicious flavor of pumpkin and chocolate chips!

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup chocolate chips plus extra for the top

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine: eggs, milk, mashed bananas, vegetable oil, vanilla, sugar, pumpkin puree, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Mix until the sugar has dissolved and the batter is smooth.
  • Next, add in the flour, about a 1/2 cup at a time. Gently stir in the 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
  • Grease two 8x4 or 9x5 baking pans. Pour in the batter and add additional chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing.
