Spring is a busy time of year, isn’t it? School is winding down, there’s yard work to be done, spring cleaning, field trips, summer plans to be made, and the list goes on and on. It’s during this busy time of year that I am always looking for quick and easy snacks that can be made in minutes.
One of my favorite snacks lately is Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites made with Nature Valley™ Protein Granola. It’s made using ingredients you likely already have on hand: bananas, peanut butter, and Nature Valley™ Protein Granola which is super versatile and can be used in so many different ways for breakfast, a snack, or even dinner.
To make these Banana Bites, you’ll start by peeling a banana and slathering it with peanut butter. Then, you’ll sprinkle it with any variety of Nature Valley™ Protein Granola. My favorite variety lately is the Peanut Butter ’N Dark Chocolate because it’s pretty much impossible to go wrong with the winning combination of chocolate and peanut butter.
You can cut the banana into bite sized pieces, or eat it whole, whichever you prefer. If you’re making these for the kiddos, it’ll be easier to cut the banana into smaller pieces. Be sure to store leftovers in an air-tight container.
Aside from these Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bites, I like to use Nature Valley™ Protein Granola to make these refreshing Fruit, Yogurt & Granola Parfaits. It’s also perfect for a topping on ice cream.
The next time you need a quick and easy snack idea, look no further. Enjoy!
