With Christmas just three days away, I decided it was about time I offer you a little help with something besides cookies and treats! :) And since I can’t help you with wrapping presents and stuffing stockings, I decided I’d offer you a few suggestions for Christmas Breakfast!

But first… I just wanted to take a minute to wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season. Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or something else, I hope it is filled with lots of love, family and friends, and of course, good food. :) This year I am extra grateful to be able to spend Christmas with my family, particularly my Mom. She gave us all quite the scare shortly after Thanksgiving when she stopped breathing. She’s been in the hospital for nearly a month now, but is scheduled to be released tomorrow which means she will be home for Christmas. Truly a blessing!

Lastly, before I get to breakfast, I thought I’d share our little family Christmas pic. My family consists of two adorable dogs, and a handsome husband. We decided to try and take this picture ourselves, you know, with the timer on the camera. It was no easy feat, and proved to be impossible to get everyone looking at the camera (namely the pups), and everyone in focus! We settled for this one, because despite the bit of blur, everybody is looking at the camera!

Now lets talk breakfast! When it comes to breakfast on Christmas morning, I typically like to make something simple, or something that can be made ahead. All of the recipes I’ve chosen for you can either be made ahead, or they’re so simple to make in the first place. And of course, may I suggest serving bacon alongside Christmas Breakfast? I’ve mentioned it before, but my favorite way to cook bacon is in the oven. Simply line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Arrange the bacon in a single layer, pop it in a COLD oven. Then, turn the oven on to 400 degrees and cook the bacon for anywhere between 18-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the bacon. Super easy!
