As the sun inches higher in the sky and the temperature starts to climb, there’s nothing like a refreshing glass of lemonade to quench your thirst. Does it even feel like summer until you’ve had a class of my Perfect Homemade Lemonade? While I love a glass of homemade lemonade, I also love a blended, fruity, beautiful frozen drink that’s simple, refreshing and delicious. Frozen Strawberry Lemonade Ingredients

Here’s what I love about this recipe and what you’ll love too – it requires just a few simple ingredients and it’s versatile!

  • Frozen Lemonade Concentrate – you’ll find this in a cylinder shaped can in the frozen food section of the grocery store. It’s a concentrated form of lemonade that has been frozen and is convenient and consistently good.
  • Water
  • Frozen Strawberries – if you do not have frozen strawberries, you can also use fresh but you’ll want to add ice, a few ice cubes at a time to compensate for the lack of frozen strawberries
  • Lemon or fresh strawberries – for garnish! It looks beautiful with a slice of lemon or a whole strawberry on the rim of the glass.

Make it your own

This recipe is versatile! I used strawberries this time around, but you could so easily swap out any berries you’d like. I’ve got a big bag of mixed berries in my freezer that I keep on hand for smoothies, and I’m tempted to mix those in next time I make this lemonade. Here are a few ways you can make it your own:

  • Blueberries – swap frozen strawberries for frozen blueberries to make a delicious frozen blueberry lemonade!
  • Raspberries – swap frozen raspberries for frozen raspberries to make delicious frozen raspberry lemonade.
  • Make it an adult beverage – try adding a shot of vodka. Frozen Strawberry Vodka Lemonade anyone?

How to make Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

This recipe is easy and it takes no time at all to make your frozen masterpiece. To make frozen strawberry lemonade:

  • Blend – in your blender combine frozen lemonade concentrate with frozen strawberries and water. Blend until well combined.
  • Pour into a glass – chill your glasses if you wish!
  • Garnish – use a lemon slice or a fresh strawberry for garnish
  • Enjoy!

This frozen strawberry lemonade is both tangy and sweet and it sort of reminds me of a slushee! If you find the lemonade is a little too tangy for you, just add a little more water to dilute it a bit. It doesn’t matter whether it is spring or summer, this Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect frozen beverage for any occasion.

Go celebrate summer with a glass of this frozen lemonade in your hand- whether you’re sipping it by the pool or making it for a backyard BBQ, you need this recipe in your life! Enjoy!
