- Dip the peaches in cinnamon sugar – take the warm grilled peaches right from the grill and dip them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

homemade cinnamon caramel sauce
The homemade cinnamon caramel sauce in this recipe is what takes this recipe to the next level. While the grilled peaches are incredibly delicious simply grilled, then dipped in cinnamon sugar, I HIGHLY recommend trying this homemade cinnamon caramel sauce for peaches.
๐After the peaches are done grilling, set them aside and make the sauce:
- Pour the leftover melted butter and cinnamon sugar mixture (from dipping the peaches) into a a small saucepan.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until the sugar begins to melt. It may look separated at first and that’s okay!
- Add heavy cream and a pinch of salt to the pan – stir constantly.
- The mixture will bubble up – keep stirring until it becomes smooth and well combined. Once the sauce is smooth and glossy, it’s done.
- Pour the cinnamon caramel sauce into a glass jar for serving.
- Serve warm – drizzle over grilled peaches.

- Choose peaches that are ripe but still have a bit of firmness to them so that they do not fall apart on the grill.
- Make the cinnamon sugar mix ahead of time to save a few minutes.
- Variations -try adding a splash of bourbon to the caramel sauce for a grown-up twist.
serving
You can serve these peaches as they are, with the cinnamon caramel sauce, or get a little fancy! Try adding:
- Shredded mint
- A spoonful of creme fraiche or Greek yogurt
- Or try ice cream or whipped cream!
The same recipe can be used for pineapple or apple slices too!
Why grilled peaches?
Grilling peaches intensifies the flavor, caramelizing their natural sugars and they are simply such a treat! The cinnamon sugar mixture takes these peaches right over the top, and that’s BEFORE adding that incredible cinnamon caramel mixture. Grilling peaches is quick and easy and I think you’re going to love them!
