I know we have some serious dessert lasagna fans around here — after all, my original Chocolate Lasagna recipe that went viral over 12 years ago and the love hasn’t stopped. Then came my White Chocolate Lasagna and now this sweet and fruit Strawberry Lasagna is the newest guest at the dessert lasagna party. Trust me, you’ll want a slice! ๐

how to make no-bake strawberry lasagna
Making this no-bake strawberry lasagna is easier than it sounds. With simple ingredients, and no oven needed, it comes together in just a few steps. Here’s a brief overview of how you make it. The full written instructions are below in the recipe card.
โ prepare the pan and make the crust
Use a 9×9 inch baking dish. Either spray it with non-stick spray or line it with foil for easy removal. The crust is made with Lorna Doone shortbread cookies. Use a food processor or rolling pin to process the cookies into fine crumbs.
โกmake the cheesecake layer
Make the cheesecake layer by mixing cream cheese, sugar, Cool Whip, and strawberry pie filling until smooth, then spread it over the crust.
Don’t forget to soften your cream cheese for this step. Leave it out at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
โขprepare the pudding layer
Whisk together instant vanilla pudding and cold milk until thick, then spread over the cheesecake layer.
โฃadd the whipped topping
I use Cool Whip for this layer. You can find it in the frozen food section of grocery stores.
โคfinish with strawberry pie filling topping
I use canned strawberry pie filling, but feel free to make your own homemade version if you prefer.
โฅchill and serve strawberry lasagna
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Alternatively, you can place the prepared strawberry lasagna in the freezer for 1 hour for quicker setting time before slicing and serving.
To serve: use a sharp knife, and serve cold! Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Strawberry Lasagna
Ingredients
- 36 Lorna Doone shortbread cookies
- 6 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- ยผ cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups Cool Whip divided
- 2 21-ounce cans strawberry pie filling, divided (or homemade)
- 1 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray. You can also line it with foil for easy removal, then spray the foil.
- Make the crust: Crush 36 Lorna Doone shortbread cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin. In a large bowl, combine the crumbs with 6 tablespoons melted butter and mix until fully combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared dish. Chill in the fridge while you make the next layer.
- Make the cheesecake layer: In a mixing bowl, beat 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup Cool Whip, and 1/2 cup strawberry pie filling. Mix until well combined. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
- Prepare the pudding layer: In another bowl, whisk 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding with 2 cups cold milk for 3โ5 minutes until thickened. Spread the pudding evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Add the whipped topping: Spread 2 cups Cool Whip over the pudding layer in an even layer.
- Finish with strawberry topping: Spoon the remaining strawberry pie filling (about 1ยฝ cans) over the top and gently spread it out.
- Chill and serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or freeze for 1 hour for quicker results) before slicing and serving.
