These Incredible Chicken Caesar Wraps feature juicy grilled chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, creamy Caesar dressing, fresh parmesan cheese, and crunchy croutons wrapped up in a soft tortilla. Fresh, satisfying, easy to make, and so delicious!
Whether it’s a trip to the pool, a picnic, or a satisfying lunch, these Incredible Chicken Caesar Wraps are one of my personal favorite recipes to make. The flavor combination involved with anything caesar is always a favorite (Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad anyone?) – especially with my homemade Restaurant Style Caesar dressing! Chicken Caesar Wraps are a great make-ahead option (more on that below!) for when you want a satisfying lunch at work, school, or wherever you might be going. Let’s make them! ❤️Ashley
Ingredients for Chicken Caesar Wraps
Only a few ingredients are needed to make these incredible Chicken Caesar Wraps. There are also some options when it comes to the amount of effort you’d like to put in. You can make everything homemade, or take a little help from the store – it’s up to you.
- Chicken – I used my juicy Grilled Chicken recipe. Other options include: rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, Instant Pot Shredded Chicken, or Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken
- Romaine – finely chopped romaine. Feel free to add additional greens including kale, spinach, or whatever greens you have on hand.
- Parmesan cheese– fresh grated. I use my microplane grater for this task!
- Parmesan Dressing – store-bought or try my homemade dressing! My favorite store-bought or bottled Caesar dressing is either Ken’s Steakhouse Creamy Caesar or Newman’s Own Caesar dressing.
- Croutons – store-bought or homemade, it’s up to you! Or, try using crispy Jalapeños instead – my personal favorite twist! I buy them at Trader Joe’s but other stores sell them as well.
- Wraps – I like using a garlic and herb wrap (Jimmy Johns’ Ceasar wrap got me hooked on the garlic and herb wrap!), you can also use a flour or whole wheat tortilla, or any kind of wrap that you enjoy.

How to Assemble the Wrap
- Chop or dice the chicken – small bite-sized pieces are best.
- Chop the romaine – I chop the romaine a bit smaller for wraps than what I’d chop for a salad.
- Gather the remaining ingredients – Caesar dressing, parmesan cheese, croutons, and wraps.
- Make the Filling – in a medium sized bowl, combine the following ingredients per wrap: 3-4 ounces of chicken, 1 cup of romaine lettuce, 2 tablespoons Caesar dressing, 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, a sprinkle of croutons or Crispy Jalapeño pieces (if you’re like me!). Toss all of the ingredients together. At this point, it should look like a chicken Ceasar Salad.
- Wrap – scoop the caesar filling onto a large wrap or tortilla. Fold the bottom of the tortilla over the filling to partially cover it, then fold the sides in and roll tightly to secure all of the fillings. Slice in half if you wish.
Make Ahead Tips
If you would like to make these ahead of time, I recommend the following:
- Prep all of the ingredients, but package them separately.
- Just before you are ready to eat, combine all of the ingredients, the wrap them up. This will ensure that the romaine remains crisp and delicious. We don’t want soggy lettuce!
- If you choose to make the wrap ahead of time, including assembling it, I recommend wrapping it in parchment paper or foil to help ensure that they stay tightly wrapped.
