crush the Oreos
A food processor is helpful for this. Alternatively, place the Oreos in a zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin or another hard, firm object.

add in cream cheese
Mix up the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and blend until a dough forms.

roll into balls
Place rolled balls on a parchment lined baking sheet then pop ’em in the freezer to firm-up.

dip ’em
I prefer to use almond bark candy coating, but you can also use candy melts or chocolate chips. I use a fork as my dipping tool to help coat the Oreo Balls evenly.

Decorating Tip
Important! If you’re adding sprinkles, be sure to decorate each Oreo ball right after dipping it. The chocolate hardens quickly, and once it sets, the sprinkles won’t stick. I like to dip one, decorate it immediately, then move on to the next.
decorate
Place dipped Oreo Balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and add sprinkles immediately before the chocolate sets. You can also drizzle colored candy melts on top of each Oreo Ball (something like these Christmas colored candy melts are fun!)

how to store oreo balls/truffles
Refrigerator: store in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
Freezer: place in a freezer-safe container or bag and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
Wrap up these Christmas Oreo Truffles in a cute little box or place them in mini cupcake liners for the perfect presentation. These work great for a Christmas gift for friends and neighbors or as part of a Christmas Cookie exchange. No Bake Oreo Balls for Christmas
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 15 ounces Oreo Cookies finely crushed (about 36 cookies)
- 24 ounces almond bark vanilla or chocolate
- Christmas sprinkles for decorating
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos: use a food processor to turn Oreo cookies into a fine crumb. Alternatively, place the cookies in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies. Optional: reserve 1-2 tablespoons of crushed Oreos for garnish.
- Mix with cream cheese: add cream cheese to the food processor and process until smooth. If you do not have a food processor: in a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and mix with a hand mixer until smooth and blended.
- Roll into balls: use one tablespoon of Oreo ball mix and roll into balls. Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. You will get about 25-30 Oreo balls.
- Freeze: place the Oreo balls in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, or in the refrigerator for about an hour to firm up.
- Dip: melt almond bark, chocolate chips, or candy melts according to package directions. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate. Use two forks to help evenly coat the truffles.
- Decorate: immediately add sprinkles or reserved Oreo cookie crumbs to the dipped Oreo ball before the chocolate sets.
- Chill: Allow the Oreo balls to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, then serve.
